Class Poem

Who knows how any one may choose his way?
Who knows how one of us can understand
The means of seeking that which sometimes may
Inspire us to rise, then risen, stand?

The weakest of us hope sometime to know
The dreams that make the strongest of us care
For that which matters much, but doesn't show:
Intelligence that all of us should share.

We seek a shadowed glimpse of what may be;
We hope for hints of what could be in store.
Instill not fear, but hope in us, and we
Accept what comes and gladly ask for more.
